Concept. Execution. Results.
Abby is a freelance writer exploring parenting, divorce, relationships and women’s issues. Her work is published in the Huffington Post, Scary Mommy, A Child Grows in Philly, Philly.com, The Good Men Project. Abby was looking to create a professional look for her business and a website to display her work as an additional method of reaching her readers and as a tool for marketing her work to publications.
Since Abby’s writing style is candid and personal, SSC created a bold, crisp monogram of her initials for her visual brand. The saturated purple chosen, represents creativity (and also happens to be Abby’s favorite color). The serif font gives a professional feel. The letters are connected with a sharp interwoven stroke complementing her dynamic, straight-forward style. Abby’s website integrates her brand fonts and colors with a clean, usable layout where she showcases her work.
